The company was born from a passion to save lives, originally in response to reports that preventable medical errors kill more than 100,000 patients every year in U.S. hospitals. Studies show that most of these deadly errors are caused by systemic process issues, not by human performance deficiencies. In other words, broken processes were failing people.

Jonathan is a dynamic and passionate business leader with a deep technical background and over 20 years of experience in the development and commercialization of new technologies spanning multiple industries including clinical diagnostics, food safety, and agriculture. Most recently he was CEO and Founder of a Biosciences company which was a Denver Business Journal Fast 50 small business category winner in 2020. He also helped develop and commercialize the core biomarker discovery technology behind the SomaScan platform at SomaLogic.
Tom Leifer
Founder and President
Tom has more than 30 years’ experience in technology product strategy and development, in markets that include healthcare, enterprise technology infrastructure and learning management. Over the last 20 years, he has focused on improving patient safety, clinical quality and operational efficiency in high risk healthcare settings. He designed the QI Path system to locate and eliminate vulnerabilities in mission critical operations in global enterprise environments.
